You haven't given insulin, right? He can't go too low without insulin. This is his normal non diabetic number.
If you gave insulin, let us know ASAP, but the last time you posted, he hadn't had any for several days.

I know it is upsetting to see the lower numbers when you dealt with a hypo, but those low numbers are only a problem when the cat is getting insulin. He is normal and on his way to being a kitty who may not need insulin (anti jinx).

No Ma'am I haven't given ANY insulin for what? At least 3-43 days b/c his #'s were good, everyone said he did not need it.

(and putting a bit of warm water mixed in with it)

Oh LOOK at RoyBaby go!!! No insulin and handing MamaBean THOSE numbers!!! Oh MamaBean, quit worrying!!! He's doin' it right!! He can't hypo without insulin!!!
Low numbers can make them lethargic - their bodies aren't used to being in that range! It's OK!! It's WONDERFUL!!!

It was lovely meeting Cheryl and her kitties Roy, Megs, Giz and Mr. Digs yesterday.
Roy is a beautiful grey/blue with soft fur.
We tested at about 2:30 in the afternoon -- and he was 102 on my meter, which is 5.7. It took two pokes to get blood - Roy has smooth firm ears, and it was easier to get blood by poking on the inside.
Roy looks really healthy and while he has lost weight, he doesn't seem underweight - I pointed Cheryl to Dr. Lisa's website www.catinfo.org, which discusses how to tell if your cat is overweight, and how to help them lose weight.

It was the next-best-thing-to-Christmas having Ms. Phoebe come and visit me and my tribe yesterday. I feel so much better and stronger. Not only was Ms. Phoebe a plethora of information; she performed a poke demonstration on Roy, had treats for him and it was all just so wonderful. We had
and talked; she showed me the scrapbook of her babies and I just felt so at ease with her. Ms. Phoebe's knowledge of cats with diabetes and all things cats is nothing short of outstanding. I am really happy that Ms. Phoebe said Roy was okies and it was evident she is a truly compassionate cat person.
