GA Romulus RIP

I haven't posted here for some time but I feel I should let you know that I had to let Romulus go yesterday. He was doing so well and putting on weight but yesterday he wouldn't eat and gradually during the morning he lost the use of his back legs. Took him to the emergency vet who took bloods and put him under a heating pad as his temperature was dropping. The bad news was that everything was giving up. He had severe anaemia and needed a transfusion but that wouldn't work because he had a non regenerative anaemia. His kidney levels were much higher and his liver was off the scale. He needed fluids but they couldn't do that because of his heart. It would have been a vicious cycle trying to treat him and it would only have prolonged his suffering. RIP big guy. You will be missed. ❤❤

That's what is so upsetting. I've had no signs. Fluffy, who died just under a month ago has sent multiple signs, but nothing from Rom.
