? Rom - vet says decrease to 1 unit. Ideas please

My vet just called regarding Rom's curve, or as she said, we should call it a line not curve!!! She agreed the dose was too high, and said we should lower to 1 unit twice a day, as it will be easier to adjust him up than down with all the bouncing that can cause. I gave him 1.5 units this morning. What should I do?

I would lower it, like the vet suggested. It's better to be too low then too high.

We say "Better too high for a day, than too low for a moment."

Why? You have some time to work on lowering high numbers. If you don't intervene promptly and correctly for low numbers, you can lose your cat.

Just added the food. It's Felix Wet food in jelly, 8% carbs.
