Hi. Three weeks on from starting ProZinc and Rom has gone from 2 units, down to 1 and now at 1.75 after suggestions on dosing here. After a good nadir yesterday, he is in the pinks today. I presume this is a bounce? He always bounced to pinks, very rarely higher on Caninsulin.

I was posting a daily condo in the Health forum, but was told to come here for more eyes, but it seems people do not post condos here just reports and questions. Should I just keep Rom's numbers to myself until I have news or questions or annoy everyone with a daily condo? :)

You can certainly post Rom's numbers here daily - and you aren't annoying anyone, Sue. You can post anything you want - questions, etc. It's a small group but we do keep track of each other's goings on, provide feedback and so on. I post Teasel's data every time I test.

Yes, Rom seems to be bouncing. BTW - I took heart from your comment elsewhere about Frankie taking 15 months to get regulated. Gives me hope ...

People do post almost daily but we don't require the condo format that Lantus uses. People post with numbers and maybe questions. And we'd love to have you do that! If you want to post your numbers in Condo style, that'd be great too. We have very few rules here...

The reason I suggested you post here is that you won't get much response from ProZinc users on Health, especially if you want dose advice. Most people give dosing advice only for their insulin, and most ProZinc/PZI people post here. It is a smaller forum , busiest in the am and pm. Speaking for myself, I tend to concentrate on answering posts here, as we are small, and I seldom have time to post on Health.

Having said all that, if you ever have an emergency, post here and on Health so you'll get the most eyes.

I agree. You had those lovely greens and it looks like his pattern may be to bounce for several cycles after. Some cats bounce right away; some take six cycles. The dose looks good. I would keep on doing what you doing and watch for the break - when he drops lower.

I echo what Sue & Kris said... you won't be annoying anyone by posting levels. I frequently posted Bunny's numbers and got great advice on this forum. I credit this group for getting Bunny into remission. So, post and ask away! :)

Just jumping in to agree with everyone! A lot of us focus our time here on answering questions since Health is so much bigger and it's easy to miss prozinc posts there. You can post however you want! I used to do a daily condo with numbers...some folks do a thread each week...some just post occasionally. Whatever makes you most comfortable is fine with us. And trust me, you won't be annoying us! It's what we're here for!

Thanks everyone. Looks like daily log it is!!

To continue yesterdays log:
+11 13.6 (245)
PMPS 13.6 (245)
+3 18.7 (337)

Why is he jumping 3 hours after injection? Surely he should be starting to come down a bit?

For reasons unknown, Teasel is usually high at +3 too - prolonged food spike? It seems to be his pattern at the dose range he's in right now.
