Re: Better pix - Facial Bump???

ty Larry, I have added some that I hope are better??

Re: Better pix - Facial Bump???

Larry, from what I can see, no.... but trying to hold the little fury and take the pix is a chore ~ lets just say, she DONT like it - but I guess the vet can take a look tomorrow and let me know what they think...hopefully it wont be.....dont know, antibiotic and a steriod shot that I will have to say no to.....
She has been licking her lip a bit more tonite, but still ate and is still causing trouble with all around her...where does she get that energy????
Her face on the right sides seems swollen some compared to the left - under the nose????

Re: Better pix - Facial Bump???

please send us luck with vetbean today...this should be fun for them, she will NOT beeee still for mammabean to ck out. They will have a fight on their hands today

UPDATE: RODENT ULCER - bump on Sista's mouth???

I have been searching this site for info on rodent ulcers..that is what the vet said this was.. could be airborne, or food. She of course gave a steriod shot - .35 Depo-Medrol and Ittl Sista weights 5.8lbs. Now, she said this should clear this up and no antibiotics. The shot is good for 4-6 wks. If it is airborne and not food, it should clear up and probably not come back as she thinks it is mt. cedar? I think that is what she said, and that it should be over in Feb., so we are just at the edge of this time in 6 wks.
She also said if it was food, it would probably clear up and come back within the 6 wks and to let her know. There is a script tablet that I could give her 3 times a day for 1 wk, then 2 times a day after that, but for how long??? the rest of her life - she is only 6 months old???

Feeling overwhelmed AGAIN!

Should she have given us an antibiotic???

I will not do more steriod shots for her, just this one - providing I can find another way to treat if airborne. If food, I guess we start process of deletion. She already eats raw, just not 100% raw yet. It is the chicken variety. I have been giving lamb, goose and venison for treats. What other foods could it be???

She has been eating the same foods since she has been here - July 19. Could she just now be developing an allergy to the foods???
I am hoping not and that it would be airborne and only seasonal. - Hope I am hoping for the right allergy???

Sorry, but could not wait to get out of there and home to ask the folks here for advice(wanted to pause, come here and ask yall , and then procede w/ vet visist - lol), ok and perhaps a few furry hugs.....

wish us luck w/ her bg after the 6 wks....Should I test bg during this 6 wks???

Re: Better pix - Facial Bump???
