Rocky had a check up after his dental surgery and everything is looking good: his gums are healing very well, redness almost gone and he is feeling well.
Unfortunately his weight is up by 310 grams in a week, it is quite a lot.
One reason could be that he was fed much more before today's appointment than at a previous one as he was fasting for the surgery but it would only account for a little more on the scale.
The other reason is that I probably was giving him more food as I was feeding him very often trying to balance his BGs as his numbers are good.
On top of that he doesn't move at all as the weather is very hot and Rocky just sleeps in the garden all day.
So now I'm going to try to give him less food (frequent feeding did not serve us well I concluded) and test him to see how he's doing trying to manage everything with as little insulin as possible and less food.
That's the plan, see what occurs.
