And it is happening when we managed to get Rocky's daddy to test his BG (no, I can't possibly do it, it is more difficult that giving insulin!).
So I'm pleading with Rocky to go into remission so I can go on holiday or visit friends and daddy would stay at home and look after animals.

Oh no, there is no way you can recalculate reliably! I use 2 meters at the same time taking readings from the same drop of blood!
I don't do it every time but I've done enough comparisons to have an idea.
Yes, this morning BG is good and 2 hours after food is 8.4 which would correspond to roughly 7 on human meter so I think it's good.
Poor Rocky gets really small amount of food 4 times in 24 hour period but he doesn't complain that he's hungry. I think having very strict feeding schedule is very good as he knows he would not get anything other then his meals, maybe occasional treat (dried meat) when we want him to do something - he would do anything for food! On top of that he must exercise but it is a real problem with that as, I think he's got arthritis and has some pain in his joints so it is another problem we have to deal with. He gets fish oils, EPO and turmeric but I will need to decide what else I can give him.

I hope you enjoy the extra time you've got now (what a relief!) and shaved those hairy arms ha ha ha (sorry if others are reading this and thinking how rude I'm but it's a joke only Ruby will understand!). I feel like joking because I'm feeling so happy that my Rox (short for Rocky) is doing quite well without insulin.

Rocky isn't getting so little food right? 180 grams right? Baco is getting 160grams now and is gaining weight
how is it possible that I can't see any good weight loss changes... For 3 weeks now i'm giving her strikt portions but she still not under 7kilo's. Soooo frustrating.
I am enjoying my free time! Still got 2 weeks of untill I start my new job sooooo loving it.
Yesterday and the day before my BF and I painted my house, so i'm a little soar now, a lot of muscle pains but it's done....finally.
It looks nice though, all nice clean white again.
Still have to clean up in my house but i'm torn now. I'm watching the new season of orange ia the new black episode 1.... But I know that after this episode I need to clean up, but this is really dangerous.. Because I know that after this episode I want to watch more hahahahahaha soooo I really need to be strong and push myself to clean the house
