Thanks you guys. Hopefully tonight I will be able to get back on.

Lori, that little button wasn't the problem.

Back to work.

gator i told her i thought you were the computor wiz and to pm you ok. maybe you could even walk her thru. i thought it was the little nearly invisable button that connect the internet on laptops but nope.
help robin to help us????

Yea I'm fine with that except I'm supposed to be leaving shortly to be outside/busy all day. I'm *hoping* to be back in by say 5p eastern time. No promises I will be any help though - I do not want to raise any hopes.

I the mean time you can watch the second south park clip which is a "how to" reset the Internets. ;-)

Lunch time.

OMG  that's what our IT guy at work says all the time and to think he learned it from South Park. I'll have to start watching so I can learn all these hi tech thingys.

Someone plugged me back in.

Gator, how did you doctor up the Wellness to make the fat content go down? I'd rather not have to find a different food.

You can click on the "Home Cooked" link in my sig. I mixed the home cooked 50%/50%, which was low in fat, with the Wellness. The Home cooked technically could have been fed as the only component of his diet [it met all the AAFCO requirements]. But I think in reality the fat content of their diet should be just a little higher [like in the 35%-40% range of Kcal consumed].

It was really cool system I developed. It allowed me to change flavors and still have a food that was great in nutritional composition! And it definitely satisfied my inner control freak. I went the next step by cooking the food since H was immunocompromized and one vet at the time was all lathered up about me catching some zoonotic disease. So that I would have no excuses from the vets I cooked it. But you could do the same with raw boneless chicken and a food processor using the http://www.knowwhatyoufeed.com site and it would make the time requirement much less. It's kind of like making chicken pâté or chicken sausage... if you cook much.

Using the Wellness + the home prepared also meant that the energy I spent with the home prepared went twice the distance. Thus I did not have to make as much home prepped.

If you have more questions or would like additional resources let me know. The basics are not too much reading.

lol this may not be the easy answer you were hoping for. :-D

 No that isn't the easy answer I was hoping for BUT I do love to cook. At least I used to, I'm still trying to get my feet back up underneath me after the last few years.

I guess I'll do some reading on your home cooked link. They love the Wellness and I would like to make it last longer, less fat content and more nutrisious.

And I'm ok with cooking it.
