OK think I might be up for the BOS award again - amps Robbie was 240... I couldn't bring myself to shoot 4.5 I just couldn't plus it's seemed too high in the morning anyway, I did 4.0 and it still felt odd. I know I did 4.0 into 279 not too long ago so here's hoping for about the same results because Yes, you guessed it I have plans to be gone from about 11:30am on today (that's +5) so if I test him at +4 and see where we are headed he responds very well to some food so I can get him back up a bit if it seems he'll be too low - so what do YOU all feel TOO low would be at a +4 reading? Thoughts?

First, nice amps! The only time he really reacted at a number that low was when you shot the 5 into the 265. He went long and gave you a blue amps. You have shot 4 and 4.5 into yellows twice and he has given you blues but no greens.

I think it is okay but glad you can monitor close to nadir. I understand this is hard, Eleen, but so far so good. 4 is close enough to your vet's suggested 4.5.

Thanks Sue - I told our vet I was going to maybe make a call on 4 or 4.5 and he acted like it was almost no difference (I think he doesn't see how I can actually differentiate with those syringes) but it makes me a tad less scared. Gonna check him in 15 minutes and see where we are - he's been sleeping but is bird watching now.

Low numbers AND birdies... I know he must be feeling good!!! Hope he continues to give you such nice numbers!

We have a bird feeder outside the window near where they both can sit - we call it "kitty TV" they love it, esp, the squirrels who constant try to circumvent the squirrel proof feeder...
+7 and he's on his way back up but is still only at 178 -
