He is already looking better than he has in months! Just checked ketones -- neg. Gave 2 units of Prz and he ate 1/2 can of tuna with water added. He keeps bathing...which he hasn't done in a long time

ALSO HE TOOK HIS BATRIL WITHOUT TOO MUCH TROUBLE.

All of this is great news and you have done a wonderful job Martha! Looks like Kim came along when she was needed. To you Kim, great job!! dancing_cat dancing_cat dancing_cat dancing_cat dancing_cat

I have NO doubt that Kim (and all of you) saved Risky's life.... Amazing how all this came together at just the right time.

Agreed, you and Kim found each other at just the right time.

Yay for no ketones :RAHCAT :RAHCAT .

Bathing is one of the 5 P's to determine how Risky is doing over all. Purring, preening, playing, peeing & pooing.

Thanks Martha......While I am not sure I saved Risky's life--- I do know this.....

It is a circle....I came here 7 months ago and this board took Kitty and I under their wing. You have taught me so much. So, I deserve no credit. The PZI family deserves the credit. Because, without your help and tutoring--I would not have had the knowledge to help Risky. That is what this is all about. I remember telling Robin and Sue, that I hoped one day I would be able to "pay it forward" and help others. It is a win for all of us when we can help other kitties with diabetes.

You are all the best! And, by the way.....speaking of winning.....have you checked out the VOTE?!

I'm looking forward to that day a couple months from now when it's Martha greeting and calming down some new overwhelmed "newbie"!
That's gonna happen Martha. ;-)

Great job by everyone. This place is the best.

Carl

p.s. Yes, Kim, I looked at the results when I voted this morning and they looked very, very good. :-D
