Back to the vet we went..... If ever in the northern part of the NC mountains and you need a vet... go to Appalachian/New River and see Dr. Kreis. SHE IS WONDERFUL!!!! Risky hates vets but Dr. Kreis has a calming effect and I think Risky actually enjoyed his visit. His latest numbers are BG -- 370 and NEGATIVE ketones... YEAH!!!! Risky continues to eat/drink well... I'll post updated numbers later. Dr. Kreis said to keep his PRZ on 2.5 for tonight and start him on 3 units in the morning and to TEST, TEST, TEST... if anything changes I am to call Dr. Kreis immediately. Again, RISKY AND I thank you (especially Kim) for all the help.

GREAT News Martha!!!!!

I am so happy that Risky is doing better! Please post your test later tonight, hopefully the ketones are gone for good!

I will be waiting for your next update.

I haven't been keeping up with everything these days, but I'm sorry he has had a hard time, and it's good that he is doing better and you have a vet you like. That is gold.

Looks like Risky is doing a little better!
great that he does not have the ketones!

you and Kim are doing such a great job!
keep up the great work!

It's great that you found a great Vet while on vacation, this could have been much more stressfull if the vet wasn't on board.

Keep us updated.
