I took her to the oncology vet today. We were going to work under the assumption that the chylothorax was due to lymphoma since that was the only chance we had to fight it.
They drained some more fluid out of her chest, but she was still having heavy breathing. There was air getting into the area around her lungs. I stayed there all day, they kept draining fluid out of her chest and air out of her lungs but both kept coming back. At the end of the day, I made the decision to let her go rather than keep fighting a loosing battle. I tried hard. She tried hard. We just couldn't do it.
Exactly 1 month and 1 day since I lost Korbel, my heart hurts.
