I feel like crap. How am I supposed to get her regulated when I keep giving fur shots? Starting to think last night's was a fur shot too. This morning, I felt the spurt onto my finger- I shot right through. Argh.
Well at least Rhubarb gets a break from testing today, likely only need a +3 and pmps.

We've all had those days...furshots, bounces etc. that are so furrstrating! :p Just brush yourself off and carry on. Rhubarb had a beautiful cycle during the day of the 1st. Right now, you're experimenting with food, finding right dose etc.....a lot to deal with but she will have more and more of those good days as you learn more about her tendencies. :):bighug:

Maybe this will help brighten your day.....

Lol thank you!

Today is quite miserable- I was planning a city trip to go to Costco and also pick up the auto feeder ... and the roads are very nasty with it snowing out! So it's turned into a curl up on the couch and/or do laundry etc day.

Rhubarb gave up on watching the snow fall a while ago!

Well I personally can't think of anything better on a day like that, than curling up on the couch especially with a furry critter to keep you extra warm! The laundry ain't going anywhere....it can wait! :p

PMPS definitely higher than usual: 18.1(326). May have been anxiety induced from warming up her ear.

Hopefully *this* time I got it in her!
I felt no wetness, no strong smell, but she does smell of Lantus. I drew up some water after to same dose and squirted it into my hand, and it was so tiny an amount that I doubt that I'd be able to find it in the fur if I shot through again. I'm doing something wrong I think, that I wasn't doing to begin with. Man I hope her numbers come down tonight!

And some good news- my Zobaline has landed in Canada - my aunt bought a bottle while she was stateside, and brought it back with her as a gift for Rhubarb :) It's just a matter of going down to visit, or getting it in the mail.

Don’t feel too badly. I have just recently done 4 FS in the course of a few weeks. It . Is. Aggravating . For. sure! And after one I am a wreck shooting the next time. They just happen to all of us.

Sometimes , like my last one a few days ago, the depot helped us out and it wasn’t too bad at the next shot time.

Hang in there . :bighug:

Deep Breathes! No doubt some of what you are seeing is a bit of a bounce from those lovely greens yesterday, possibly a bit of a food bump and that reading is within 15% of PMPS so don't sweat it. She'll get back on track soon! :)

I hope so!
Thank you, and everyone, for the support. This is taking so much out of me.
