Revolution Flea Control

That's my choice for Doc by far over any others. Only issue with bg I've seen is that when he does have fleas and the Revolution kills them, his bg goes down. That's not the revolution, that's because the irritating fleas are gone.

And if you've a large number of cats plus a cooperating vet, you can get the larger dog size and measure out several doses, per the Koret School of Shelter Medicine article here.

Capstar is another, albeit daily, oral, adult flea killer where you can get the large dog size and divide it up amongst several cats.

Is Capstar over the counter? I do have Revolution and I need to find out from them if I can put in on after I used a natural one (all essential oils ) Usually the natural one does the trick but we are still pulling baby fleas off them, which could mean eggs hatched in the house so I need to bring out the big guns (Revolution) to sterilize the females and break the life cycle. Ugh. Can't believe I am dealing with this in December!!

I've been using it for years on civvies. Smokey started with it 5 minutes of entering my house and has been on it since.

I get it from Australia which is so much cheaper than U.S. No script needed. Same manufacturer. Only difference is they cite kilograms instead of pounds. A lot of times you can catch free shipping or a sale. Here I could only get 3 months supply and with 4 cats at the time it made for many trips to vet.

I used to have a terrible problem with fleas until I started using Revolution! I have used it for several years and have never had any problems, even with Squallie now having diabetes: my new vet was pleased to hear that I used it.

@Woodsywife I ordered some early last month from another place in Australia, they finally got here a couple of days ago, lol. They had been all around the world! Funny this time, but I don't really want to do that again, so I am going to order from the same place you do, in the future, lol!

It does take about 3 weeks to get it. With the holidays it might take a bit longer. Customer service is wonderful. A few times my charge cards denied the foreign transaction. So a few extra days were added until I got hold of charge company. In the beginning I ordered incorrectly and had to call to state I wanted 12 pipette not 1200. LOL. Been using them for years.

Right now they have a $5.00 off special coupon when I just pulled them up.

Thank you for the heads-up! :D

Yes. It kills adult fleas, only, no larvacide effects. It last 24 hours. Intensive flea control per the Koret School of Shelter Medicine defines it as Capstar every 3 days plus the Revolution or other med with larvacide effects.
I will have to try it. Thanks BJM
