RESTING AFTER FIRST LOW READING

Georgie had his first major low reading of 23. This group and the comments really helped me deal with this severe situation and get me through in one piece. His levels are back up now and he and his brother are resting in their beds. Attached is a cute little photo. THANK YOU ALL!

Nice picture. Dont relax too much yet.. that syrup can wear off, and the insulin will not, so he might go low again... how far along on his cycle are we now?

I'm definitely not relaxed yet. I have tested him at 46, 154, and the last one at 116.

Should I give him more food or syrup since it has gone down at bit?

Give him just a teaspoon of his regular food. You want to steer him to stay up without overloading him.
