resources for CANINE diabetes?

I have a friend whose dog was recently diagnosed with diabetes. I'd like to help her with the steep learning curve at the start, but I know my experience with Quincy can only apply so far given the differences between cats and dogs' physiology. Is there anything comparable to the FDMB forum for dogs? Any tips on good canine diabetes sites would be appreciated.

Thanks! I knew this came up before, but couldn't find it and then wondered if I was thinking of the old board.

Looks like the K9diabetes.com page is esp. good. Interesting that Lantus isn't indicated for dogs.
