Hi beautiful angels of this forum,

My cat is in 'remission' or was perhaps misdiagnosed in the first place ... however I am noticing changes.
1. increase appetite
2. reading of 7.1 (at +3 after food)

I have him on low carb wet food only - no biscuits
he's a stable but lower weight than 6 months ago at 4.3kg (not 5.3kg)
His energy is amazing, running, jumping etc, more than ever
He looks muscular not thin - and not bloated as before - so the diet seems ideal

However ...

He is eating more than ever ... maybe it's due to the previous biscuits adding bulk ?

- I find I now have to increase portions - does anyone else find this?
- He wants 3-4 meals a day, not 2 anymore (perhaps due to lack of biscuits to snack on?)

- In-between meals I feed him plain chicken breast, as he asks for food (and not normally a greedy cat)
- His +3 reading was 7.1

Is this all sounding ok?

If you’re using the AlphaTrak, then his numbers are still good :cat: Some cats just don’t like to be fed twice a day. Mine gets fed about 6-8 times a day and still begs for food just about every hour  Wet food does tend to be less calorie dense than dry, so that could be part of it as well. As long as he has no other health issues that could be causing an issue, I would just feed more meals throughout the day if you are able
