Remission may be in sight!

So, Katie's BG numbers have been steadily decreasing over the past few days, forcing me to drop her dosage faster than may be usual. Anyway, her AMPS is 112 today, but I didn't want to come back to find skyrocketing numbers, so I gave her the smallest dose possible for these insulin syringes. Which looks to be about 0.15 U. She's also been way more playful lately, despite the diarrhea she had yesterday. So, here's hoping she will be in remission very soon. *keeping fingers crossed*

To know if your cat truly is in remission, we say you need to go 14 days with NO insulin and BG's in the normal range - up to 120 max.

good luck and yes remission is always a possibility.

Hurrah! Hurrah! This sounds encouraging. Hope she is OTJ soon!

Very interested in your spreadsheet with the alternating doses am and pm. I think I will share it with the PZI forum. It's an approach we haven't seen often and it certainly seems to be working for you!
