Remission ended? :(

Zorro has his OTJ party back in May 2018. He has been going well. I have not changed his diet at all as he is still on his ultra low carb diet however, this morning his test came up 16.1, (last test was 4.9 a couple months ago) and he has been a bit off the last week. So it looks like I need to start the lantus again. Am I right in thinking that he should start on 1 unit (Tight regulation) as his optimal weight is around 4kg. And when reading the sticky I am assuming its 1 unit in AM and 1 unit 12 hours later. I am going to start in the morning in case he crashes.

I would take him to the vet first if you think he has been a bit off. It could be something easily fixed. May be his teeth.
Sheba used to get a high BGLevel for a couple of days when she got pancreatitis. Then when treated it would go back to normal. Then on one occasion it didn't and she fell out of remission.
