Remind me what foods for pancreatitis + diabetes?

i know i've read about this dozens of times over the years but apparently it's one of those things that didn't stick. i want to say some Wellness is good??

vet suggested a couple foods that are good for the pancreatitis but said they might not be too good for the diabetes soooooooo i'm looking for what's good for both.

I used the food list on ibdkitties.net and cross referenced with the foods on Janet and Binky's list. Then we had to try various brands before we found what worked for Max. Foods high in fat made Max vomit, as well as certain proteins. Merrick's was perfect in theory for Max, but for some reason it made him barf too! ECID. Good luck!

Raw---call Feline's Pride and ask them to send you a free sample. It cured my Sebastian's diarrhea INSTANTLY. Now I switch between giving him 1/2 Db canned and 1/2 raw (Feline's Pride or Nature's Instinct frozen)

I will second Martica's recommendation. She is right about raw food curing diarrhea. And although I was poo-poo'd about it resolving Gandalf's pancreatitis, he was eating on his own within 2 days after starting raw. Frankly so many feline digestive problems are caused by commercial pet food that I doubt there is any canned food which will do for pancreatitis what raw food can do.
