hi everyone
I was a regular here a few years ago and following lots of help from the group remi achieved remission and luckily remained in remission for the rest of his life. He even managed to go back on steroids for his IBD and keep his blood glucose low.
Tonight I made the very tough decision to let my baby go. He had suffered bad IBD and pancreatitis for the last few years and then yesterday vomited blood from a suspected ulcer. When he vomited blood and collapsed tonight I felt it was time to set him free of his poor body. I am not sure if I let him go too early but was frightened of leaving it too late. He was the best boy anyone could ask for and will never be replaced. I hope he forgives me as I couldn't tell if he was ready to go and feel very guilty.
Can someone post the poem
