Relion strips shortage?

so I am Canadian and pop over the border to Walmart every so often to pick up relion prime strips. Howeevr I came to Florida for Xmas and thought I would stock up and I went into Walmart and they say they are having stocking issues? I went online and tried pretty much everywhere in the state and couldn't find any. Then I found a post saying that they are discontinuing some of the strips (the 50 packs) and there may be a shortage.. Does anyone know anything about this?

I haven't seen anything "official", but I know that when I went in the last few times, there were very few of the boxes of 50 "Prime" strips. I was just looking at their website and see a 100 strip option now. I don't think I've ever seen that before
 
I haven't had any issues at my Walmarts. If you want, I'll be glad to look the next time I'm there and mail some to you, or pick up an extra bunch from ADW...if that's allowed thru customs.
 
You may want to check eBay, I find great deals on the confirm test strips.

Not BJ, but yes, that's what I bought (arkay 01 mini strips for my relion micro) and they work perfectly. Great deal when you get the buy 4 get 1 free deal too. :)
 
Yup. They're identical. Arkray USA makes the Glucocard 01 meters and brands them as ReliOn Confirms for WalMart. The supplies for either work for either.
