AFAIK these are a Wal-Mart exclusive brand, someone can correct me if I'm wrong so you would only be able to get them at Wal-Mart. At least that's what I found when I was using them while I was pregnant.

Yes, it is the Walmart house brand so probably wont be available any where else than there and maybe Sams Club.

As far as I know, WalMart is the only place to buy them - I use them and always try to keep at least a small pkg. on hand in case they're out (which has been known to happen) when I go to get more.

I know! I snagged the last package the last time I went. I was so relieved. I hate going all the way out there and then they're out of whatever I went to get. That's why I only really go there for strips. I always buy two packs and go for more when I open the second.

Has the Micro meter been discontinued? I just searched WalMart's web site and they only have the ReliOn Ultima meter and test strips. They also have some name brand meters and test strips too.

The Walmart website has never shown the micro or the strips. I am not sure why. I wouldn't think that they would be discontinuing the strips because they now work with a new relion meter as well, I think it is called the Contour or something close to that.

My last two boxes I have bought are for thre micro & confirm.

Larry.. I think you might be right...At my local WalMart they only have one Micro Meter left & the rest are the new Confirm. I went ahead & bought the new Confirm too, just incase something happens to my Micro. The Confirm is $12 too & uses the same strips. I cannot locate the micro only strips anymore - which is fine now that I went ahead & got the micro/confirm strips - I was just nervous in the beginning - but after a couple boxes - I have not noticed any difference.
