Relion Prime vs. Relion Premier Compact

Our tester was an old Acension Contour but the test strips were too expensive so we just got a Relion Prime and Relion Premier Compact. Tested Catman at 8p for PMPS.

The Prime came out at 299 and the Premier at 315....

I know there is variance and 10% would be 30 pts. Just curious about other people's experiences.

I have the prime but have never compared it to the compact. I have compared the freestyle and the prime and it’s the same type of 10-15% difference in the high numbers. The margin narrows as the numbers go down especially under 100

 

[Bama Kitty Mom (GA)]

I use the Relion Premier Compact and every two or three days I get the dreaded error #4. I suspect but have never confirmed that the Premier Compact measures lower than the Relion Micro I used to use.
