Reduce by 0.25 or should I just shave her dose

She's really starting liking this dose, but with the 2.7 (47) today I know she's earned a reduction, but just wondering if I should go the full .25. She's been on insulin since Dec. 2016 so I'm not sure if that's classed as a long term diabetic or new As usual I value all of your opinions.

Hi there. I would give the full reduction of .25 unit. We usually don't start shaving the dose until the kitty gets on a much lower dose and it needs fine tuning. You can always go back up if you see that she is steadily going up after she clears any bouncing that the lower number caused.

She is not considered a long term diabetic until after one year of diagnosis.
