Recommendations for a vet in LA area

Hello, I am new to having a diabetic cat. My current vet is not up to date with all of this information that I have been learning on this site and from the catinfo.org website. I seem to have way more info about this subject then she does, just from this site alone. I am in Highland Park but I am willing to drive to the surrounding areas if anyone knows of a really good vet who is up to date.
