Hello and greeting to all!

I was wondering if anyone can double check how I am reading this syringe. A few notes about it. It is a 40u syringe, 3/10 (or .3) mL, and the units appear to be structured by two. If I am interpreting this right, this would mean that every tick (5 in between each main tick of 2, 4, ... 12) is equivalent to 2 ACTUAL ticks because we can assume that half of the space between each 2, 4,... etc. is 1, 3, 5, etc.

Anyhoo.... please check out these images from imgur and let me know. :) OR any way that can anyone clarify it....... that would help......

! . . . . . ! . . . . . ! . . . . . ! . . . . . ! . . . . . ! . . . . . !
2 4 6 8 10 12

EACH SINGLE unit would be 2.5 little ticks correct? It makes it harder to read. I attached just a a few pictures of the syringe and than also how I think I should be interpreting it!

Gosh I hope I got it right on that last photo. :D Doing a super good job of confusing myself!
