Thanks to all for some great ideas. Rebecca Thomas wrote of strange looks from other drivers with cat in car. Before digital / phone cameras I had 2 guys pointing and laughing at Elmo, looking out the back window of a minivan. Out comes the camera, so funny.
Main Point, This happened to a friend of mine. Insulin in baggy, ice leaks out in the hot car, 8 hour road trip. Zip into local vet, "Need insulin, this is why". Even after showing them her meter and syringes they wanted to examine the dog, blood work etc. What else would she need insulin for? Afraid the DEA will bust down her door? Or do you just want to make MORE MONEY from someone in a jam. But here you can walk into any drugstore, open sores, track marks, dilated pupils and buy boxes of 100 syringes no questions asked. A strange world.
