I adopted Phoebe a few months ago. The shelter told me she was 4 and maybe had asthma. Turns out she is at least 10 with diabetes. I did not expect to have to be visiting the vet so often right away. My work schedule is about to change and I'm not going to be able to keep up with her routine. I cannot take her back to the shelter I adopted her from because I believe they would put her down. I can't bear that thought. Does anyone know anywhere or anyone in the Philadelphia, PA area that would take her and take care of her correctly? Thank you.

Hello. I am tagging someone that I hope will be able to help. Hang in there, please. @Chris & China (GA)

You might want to contact Diabetic Cats In Need. Send a message with the details and when our adoption manager has time, she'll get back to you. We post diabetic cats in need of homes on our Facebook page but it can take time to find somebody that's willing to adopt a sugarcat (but it only takes 1 person to see a picture and say to themselves "I need that cat at home with me!)
