I did do this w/Rocket a few days last week and altho it helped she still will not eat what should be her full portion. Even this morning she only ate about a quarter of what she should have. I gave her some Temptations and she ate about half a little bag of those, and a little Friskies Turkey pate. I added warm water to her Friskies and she ate a little of that if I stood right there. I will put Angus in there w/her now & see if she'll eat more.

I was up til 3:30 a.m. w/her b/c the dip to 39 which of course made me oversleep so her a.m. shot was just less than half hour late. I did go ahead with the reduction b/c amps was only 150.

Already I am freaking about what to do during the work week.

I hope that she will listen to you. Rusty is a grazer, too, but he doesn't have other kitties around to eat the food he leaves for a while in his dish.

Hope you can get in some good naps today.

She has been good today insofar as being alert, sleeping on the bed while I was cleaning upstairs, following me around, lying on her perch on the stairs. She pretty much grazed off and on all day, every couple of hours I would offer her food and she would eat a few bites and quit. I started wondering if she was still nauseous or if eating was making her nauseous so I gave her 5mg pepsid & about an hr later when I offered her some food she took big gulping bites of her pate. So I think she is still nauseous or eating makes her nauseous so I will keep her on Pepsid for a few days.

Otherwise she curled up next to me and we took a nap about 5 pm, I woke up and saw the color of the sky couldn't remember if it was Sunday morning or Monday morning and rolled over to look at the clock and it was 7:23 & I thought OMG I'm gonna be really late for work ... then I rolled back over & decided I didn't care & would just call in and tell them I was running late and when I looked at the clock again I saw that it was pm and not a.m. & figured out it was Sunday night. I never take naps. Ever. Until today. & had a panic attack when I woke up, and Tawny was snuggling me.
