Due to another Fur shot.... I am totally a bad Bean. :(
But I am getting it figured out and on my way to a good day. Its a go with the AM shot and all is well.

:) Thanks guys. I am sure he will be fine its just how bad i feel all night, it totally stresses me out. Going to exercise and de stress and its off to work I go!
Its impossible to stay warm, its like 25 below windchill factor. UGH but I will do my best to stay safe.
So stinking over this WINTER!!!! Boo

shoot - that's too bad. but it does happen.

are you using the lift & roll method, where you just roll back a bit and put the needle just under the skin? if so, and you're having lots of fur shots, you might have better luck with the pull up a hunk of flesh method that i described last night. i only once had the needle go all the way through and i used both short and longer needles.

i also always waited for punkin to bury his face in his food before giving his shot. that distracted him and kept him in one spot while i shot him.

the only thing i'd disagree with is the "pull back the syringe to see if there is blood in it" comment. i've had my allergy injections do that and it hurts like hell. i think if you're in the right area, you're not likely to hit veins.

hang in there! it'll get easier! and he'll recover from the fur shot. everyone does them sometimes.

Well holding strong to the Purple and Reds. Poor guy. Praying for lower #'s this afternoon in to the PMPS.
Water and pee galore today! Which makes cat litter paw prints all over my house. Ugh LOL Gotta love em all the time no matter the BS it takes.

Yes I did watch that video last night :) Its a good one thanks for the info. I to did not like the pull back for blood ???
Wont be doing that part.
