Hi Everyone,
Griffin is transitioning to Wet food and it was suppose to happen slowly to to some crazy numbers and I am new to this (even though he was dx a year ago).
I thought we had enough vet food to last through the transition but because we are going slower than I first calculated for, we ran out.
I would like to not buy a new bag of vet food, if I don't have to. It is over 50 dollars a bag and last a month. Medi-cal diabetic (by Royal Canin).
Does anyone have any suggestion to move forward ? or a non vet brand that I could get a small bag of to finish the transition?
I am going to see if any of the vets in the "city" (going this morning) have small or sample bags. Griff had his last kibble meal this morning. Next kibble meal is due at dinner. He gets two wet meals a day Lunch and snack.
I will be home this afternoon and all day tomorrow to monitor.
PS We got our first urine test at home finally - NO KETONES WOOHOO
Thanks Moe
