So things have NOT been going very well here with Ramone's #'s.
I've upped him to 7.5 units this morning.
It seems so strange that each time I increase in the first 24hours I get a good #. Like this past Friday PMPS...
Then right back to the yellow's and pink/purples.
I really hope something is going to happen again with the 7.5 units. BUT I've reached out to my vet, if I'm not getting results with his #'s I want to get him tested on everything that is likely to cause insulin resistance.
Question is - what tests do I ask for again is it just IAA and Acro ? I've read things about IGF-1 is that something different? Also Cushings... ??
I'm thinking there must be some underlying issue he's going through, it was literally 1 month, March 20th to April 19th we had good/decent #'s and now we are just back to where we were before...
