Raffle- Seeking Prize Donations- LAST DAY to donate a prize!

I am going to do a raffle fundraiser in March. I am thrilled to have an opportunity to raise $$ for FDMB. I would like to start selling raffle tickets on March 10th and keep the raffle open until the 31st. I am seeking prize donations (baskets, food, your crafts, anything nice but no sugar children please...LOL). Rebecca has given her approval already for this fundraiser as well as approving this post for both the Feline Health and Community Boards. As I'm a Thirty-One Independent Consultant, I am raffling off several of our beautiful products! I ordered everything on Wednesday and should receive the order in about a week, at which time I'll post pictures (and may have a certain sugar-boy do some modeling for me). The prizes I've purchased and will be raffling are:

  • A Thermal Tote in Wild Zebra Print with "Sugar Mama" in turquoise thread (a lot of people use these to take their lunch to work in style) with a matching turquoise rosette. Retail value $30

    Very functional, multi-purpose Keep-It Caddy tote in Black with "Got Catnip?" in Lime Green (this product can be used by a man or a woman). Retail value $29

    A gorgeous, classy professional womens' Cindy Tote in Black Pop Cross. Retail value $70

    A Mini Thermal Zipper Pouch in the ICan-Ikat pattern which is great for keeping insulin and needles in the fridge (keeps insulin cold for a while out of the fridge as well as cushioned while in the fridge). Retail value $12

    Two Lanyards (winner gets choice of 3 patterns). Retail value $10.

    Hang-Up Home Organizer (great for a man or woman) in our Grey Pin Dots pattern. Retail value $30.

Would you be interested in something like a skin care sample bag?
For a while I was interested in skin care and would order sample collections. I find myself with a bunch of little makeup-type bags and dozens of sample packets (all unopened) of different skin care items (cleansers, lotions, serums, etc.). If you'd be interested in something like that, I'd be interested in clearing out my stash!

Fundraisers are a great thing for the board! I've heard of your products, but never bought anything. My God Daughter has several items tho. Good luck and hope you can raise lots of money for FDMB!!

Thanks Deb!!!! That's really nice of you :) They are nice products; I really like most of the stuff; its huge here in Ohio....

Since most of the items are geared towards women, I would be willing to donate some money to help purchase things for the raffle, or even just go into the general fund... How, where can I do this? is FDMB set up as a 501c3? Because when I get more financially fit, I do plan to donate regularly. Thanks!!

That is so thoughtful of you! Would you be interested in maybe donating a gift card? It can even be geared towards men if you'd like. In any event, I will get you information re: where to donate to the general fund and 501c3. Thank you so much :mrgreen: Kat

Just added: Custom Scrapbook of the winner's cat. Winner sends photos of their cat to Michelle (mimi4neeyah & Loki) and she will make an 8x8 or 12x12 scrapbook; their choice.
