Questions regarding food and carb%

I wasn't too sure where to post this but I'm finding conflicting info possibly when I run the numbers from the label in the carb calculator I have. I bought some FF petites that I was sure would be high carb because it says made with rice. But when I entered the info, it came back as 10. Does this look right? To be sure, we are supposed to go by the dry matter % right? The bottom right nber?

I just entered the info for the FF savory centers, pate with tuna and a gourmet gravy center. It came back as a negative number, so, meaning low carb, right?
Suddenly I rethinking all my food choices for my girls.

I looked on the Chewy site where people ask questions and found this

Is that with just a random food, or one of the foods I mentioned?
Also, that seems like a big difference. 4.3 would seem safe for diabetic but not 21

Regan I was never good at calculating food.
All I know is that Dr Lisa's chart goes by as feed
I go by that as well. I had that in hand the day after diagnosis and shopped by that. My only issue is that it doesn't list all of them. I'm still trying to find the ones my babies will eat or like the most and will eat the most of. I'm only one month in and it feels like longer.

Whew! So they are indeed hc? I ordered those after you said they were.
I honestly don't know anymore. One would think so with it being made "with rice" that was why I grabbed some while at the store. But I feel like what I could be feeding at times, is possibly higher in carbs but my girls don't like the strictly pate even with water added. They love the ones with gravy, just like your boy, they lap that up and then there is just dry particles left over.
I really would like to give them.more of the Kirklands brand that I found at Costco. They are corn, soy, wheat free with nothing artifical. And they come out to about $0.67 per each and it has 45 with 3 different flavors.

I can only do the best I can. If something turns out to be a bit higher, then it is what it is at this point.
