As i have mentioned in earlied threads, I'm still struggling to take my cat's glucose levels and I'm always afraid I'm stressing her out and raising her glucose levels.
What are some things to watch for with hypoglycemia? I don't think she had it yet but when she gets drowsy I sometimes start worrying a lot. Of course I will try to take her bg but she is extremely stubborn about it so I need to know some signs as well.
If she was hypoglycemic, would she still be running away when I try to take her glucose?

This is a post from the Lantus board on handling low numbers. At the beginning of the post is information on what to look for with respect to symptoms of hypoglycemia.

In looking at Sica's spreadsheet (SS), you will want to consider getting at least one test, in addition to your pre-shot test, during both the AM and PM cycles. One reason for doing this is that Lantus dosing is based on the lowest number in the cycle (i.e., the nadir). Cat's numbers can drop low and then bounce back to a high range at shot time. If you're only testing at pre-shot times, you'll have no idea how well the insulin is working and whether you've missed a reduction worthy number or if the dose needs to be raised.

Hypoglycemia is a real thing and can be tragic but you cannot spend every minute of the day expecting the worst. Read the links you were given and be ready if it happens but don't expect it to happen. There's a big difference and the stress you're feeling isn't healthy. You need to be healthy before you can take care of a diabetic cat. In another thread you wrote about panic attacks, I know all about it and so does my family doctor.
I'd like for you to be educated and stay vigilant while keeping your sanity. Diabetes isn't the killer, stress is.
This link isn't strictly medical but it's good advice and the day my wife read it to me changed everything. When you have a minute...
