I'm converting the new Wellness 3 oz cans and I have some questions about the calorie converter and our charts that I'm hoping someone can help me with.

I have as fed Carbs for instance and it's 2.81 in that 3 oz can when I use the converter it comes out to 9.5% of calories. Am I supposed to put that 9.5 (or rounded up -10) as the carbs even though that is the percent of calories from carbs rather than the carbs themselves? Or wouldn't it make more sense to have columns for the % of calories from carbs, fat, protein? Or am I misunderstanding the calculator?

I'd appreciate some infput from those familiar with the converter. Thanks!

Which WN are you looking at?

If you are using Janet's calculator (attached), you need to put in the "as feds" for protein, fat, and carbs and then click on the % column and it will tell you.

Also, if these are the new minced, cubed, sliced 3 oz can varieties, they vary from 10-14% of calories from carbs.

Hi Marjorie,

Yes, that's what I'm coming up with but I'm wondering if that's the figure used in Binky's list, the % of calories from carbs?

Thanks a lot.

That's what I did. I got all the as fed values. I just wanted to make sure I was converting it and laying it out properly so it matched what all the other spreadsheet values are. Thanks so much for your help and the updates.
