Sometimes there is a long or short interval between testing. This is because of my varying work hours. If I'm going to be late after an early shoot my DH will give a small snack to tie them over until I get home to test, feed and shoot. (He won't test) My question is if I come home late at night, then have to leave early for work, would it be better to test and feed, then when it is a little closer to the 12 hour cycle, have him shoot according to the AMPS number? :?: Thanks.

Maybe depends on how long. If he is eating 30 minutes before the shot, that should be doable. Of course, the problem is, say he is 190 at +11 when you test. But at +12, he has jumped to 270. You might shoot a different dose for those different numbers....if you shoot based on 190, it could be that he needed a little more for the 270.

How often would this happen? If not often, I don't think it'd be a big deal.

PS, like your dose today, but wonder what happened. Those blues and greens were looking good.
