? Question regarding civi cat Artemis

Hello all it has been quite a while since I spoke up but now I have a problem/concern. Last night Artemis woke me in the middle of the night with an ungodly weird distress cry. Her body was arched with her head hanging and she was making this weird cough sneeze nose. I gathered her up cleaned up her face which had a clear very watery snot like mess on it. Her pulse was going a million miles a second. She soon calmed down and since than has show no indications of further distress but has been very clingy. I am worried and hoping it was just a 1 time event but I also fear otherwise.
 
Could be a fur ball that won't come up and is uncomfortable. I've one that howls when she is going to vomit up one.
 
That sounds like my Patches when his allergies flair up. My vet gave him a antihistamine to clear it up. He gets a flare every few years. I hope your guy is ok and it's just an allergy. If it comes back, I would take him to the vet.

Thanks I hope it is just that, but she has had hairballs before and never did anything like that before.

Thanks will keep an eye on it, had not thought of allergies and if it does I will make sure to take her into the vet asap even though in the past we have had conflict.
