? Question on Syringes + 10/2: Tiny Sole AMPS: 383, PMPS: 398, +3: 385

So I started new needles, 30 units/0.3mL.
Tiny is on 3 Units of Lantus currently.
Does this look like an accurate 3 Unit draw?
I was about to purchase calipers when all poop broke lose with Cookie, so haven't done that yet, but am on it!

Is the very top line considered a 1/2 unit, 1 unit, or is it the starting point?

Geezus, I feel so dumb. I haven't had time to get more BD needles, they didnt have BD needles at 3 stores, these were available and less expensive, so I got them, but I'm going back to BD.

I purchased some ReliOn syringes, but they are 6mm not 8mm and I was thinking that might be too short.

I just want to be sure I'm dosing correctly and with the correct syringe. Thanks for feedback.

XOXO, Joanne

The 6mm are more than long enough.....the insulin just needs to go in the sub-q layer which is directly under the skin.

A cat's skin is only 0.4-3.6mm deep (depending on location)

It can be helpful to shave a small spot so you can see better until you develop a "feel" for it....you will get to the point where you'll be able to tell when the needle has pierced the skin.
