Question...might be an emergency situation

Kitty is not regulated yet. This afternoon he vomited several times and now he is not eating his dinner. He has has pancreatitis in the past. I am supposed to drop him at the vet tomorrow morning. I have someone telling me that I should get him to the emergency vet now and not wait until the morning. I don't know what to do.
 
Have you tested for ketones at home?
Did you give Kitty his shot of insulin?
Can you temp him with any kind of food, even people food or some of his old dry food, if he will eat that?
Is he turning his head away from the food dish, when you put the dish in front of him?

I do not have ketone strips. I just added some water to his wet food and he lapped at it and ate some of the food. He had his insulin just after 6. I test his BG several times a day.

Might be worth the trip, hopefully to just rule them out but it's always best to check because any ketone problem needs to be addressed sharpish in order to reduce risk of a cat going into full-blown DKA. Helpful resources:

I just got back with them. So now I have to wait until he pees. I have to catch it mid-stream? How is that even possible?
