Question about ketone testing

Ozy had high readings in the 300s, almost 400, yesterday. He isn't high anymore. Should I still test him for ketones because of yesterday's high numbers? Or is it too late now that his blood glucose has fallen?

I did manage to test him for ketones day before yesterday and he was fine.

Mikey has never had ketones in his life (touch wood), but I still test him about once a week or when he's been running high for a stretch or seems to have a lack of appetite (usually it's just a fake-out and he's simply making room for a binge session before another growth spurt). Ketones + Not Eating + Infection = Ketoacidosis. Expensive and potentially life-threatening, so it's worth catching it early if you can.

I would test him twice a week or whenever he is over 300.
