Hello-
My diabetic cat Maxi also has kidney disease and gets Epakitin binder mixed with his food.
I'm experimenting with automatic feeders for Maxi and his 2 feline housemates. I fear it's to no avail as I can't get each boy to eat his own food and not the others' food, and they must because binder is in only Maxi's food.
Anyway, my question about the binder is: Is it OK to leave the binder mixed in with the food for many hours? Will the binder still be effective?
Thank you
