owlgal Member Since 2011 Dec 20, 2011 #1 My cat copper just recently had a hypo incident and had to reduce his insulin by half. Is there a danger of him getting dka because of the drop so sudden? He is vomiting this morning and doesn't seem interested in eating now. Not like him at all.

BJM Member Since 2010 Dec 20, 2011 #2 When in doubt, go to the vet. What dose was he on? Has he ever had ketoacidosis? Do you have urine ketone test strips or a blood ketone meter? You need to test for ketones, as well as testing glucose levels, asap.
