Question about dropping insulin dose in half

My cat copper just recently had a hypo incident and had to reduce his insulin by half. Is there a danger of him getting dka because of the drop so sudden?

He is vomiting this morning and doesn't seem interested in eating now. Not like him at all.

What dose was he on?

Has he ever had ketoacidosis?

Do you have urine ketone test strips or a blood ketone meter? You need to test for ketones, as well as testing glucose levels, asap.

Neg ketone today and he is doing better and eating fine!
