Question about doing a curve

My boyfriend has time to do a curve tomorrow (I'm away for work), but we're increasing Dallas's dose tonight to 1.75 units. Is it worthless to do a curve right after an increase? We can only do them on weekends.

It's rarely worthless to do a curve but it depends on what you're wanting to learn. The overall purpose of a curve is to determine when onset and nadir occur and how much duration your getting. It also can inform you abut how low a dose is taking the numbers.

However, one observation. Your signature states you're following TR. Your spreadsheet suggest otherwise. With TR, you evaluate the dose every 3 days/6 cycles and if numbers are not in normal range, you increase the dose. You've been holding the doses considerably longer. I'd suggest that if you want to follow TR, you post on the Lantus forum.

Ok, we'll go ahead and do the curve!

I just switched to TR a few days ago, that's why. I was originally following SLGS. I've been posting in both Forums, but from now on I'll just stick to the Lantus one :)

If it's not too much trouble, could you insert a line on your spreadsheet that shows when you switched to TR or put a note in your signature that gives the date you switched? Otherwise, those of us that open your spreadsheet will do exactly what I did above.
