Question about curve time

how many hours do ya'll do you BCG?
meaning............... 2 hours after injection or 4 hours or 6 ,etc

Got a different answer for two Vets using ProZ. One said 4, other said 6

I wanted to do my Sunday morn but ever slept so I'm aiming for the morning
 
So what a "full" curve may look like is: AMPS, +2, +4, +6, +8, +10, PMPS (every two hours)
If you perform a "full" curve two days in a row, it would look like: AMPS, +3, +5, +7, +9,+11, PMPS
That way you can review a full two days and see a greater picture.

If you test a "mini" cuve, it may look like this: AMPS, +3, +6, +9, PMPS (every three hours)
 
And you can also scatter those amongst several days when you can snag one at odd hours - if you can do that through the week, getting a full curve on 1 day is less important

Can you explain that a little more? Just random times of the day?
 
Hey Sherri, to do a "mini curve," start at AMPS time that would be in the morning, when you would be testing Skittles prior to feeding and the shot. Then every 3 hours after that. So say your AMPS time is 6 AM, then at 9AM you would get a test, then at 12 PM then 3pm all the way to 6PM.

Yes. One day, you might be able to snag a few extra tests in the morning. Another day, you might get some towards the last half of the cycle. Whenever you can get an extra test in somewhere throughout the day, especially if you haven't many at that time, you do it. If you're able to pick up different test times here and there, and you cover the entire cycle over a week or two, doing a curve isn't as critical because you have data covering those times over different days.
