Good Morning Everyone! I have question regarding wet food versus dry food. My kitty is currently eating both; however, he likes the Dry food much better than the Wet food. They are both Purina Veterinary Diet Rx DM. Is there anything that says he cannot have all dry food? He goes to the Internal Medicine Doc on Tuesday for his Diabetes but was hoping to input from kitty parents who have had this situation :-) Thank You for Any Information!!

If you're in the US you can order Young Again Mature Zero from their website. They'll send a sample package to you to try. It's expensive but goes a long way. @JanetNJ used it very successfully.

Also try a few other types of low carb wet food. Many kitties quickly tire of the Purina DM. Wet food is the better choice since its higher in moisture and cats naturally have a low thirst drive. The dry DM is a bit high in carbs, so if you need dry try the Young Again that Kris mentioned.
