Hello,
Hope all the kitties have a splendid week & all beans get at least 6 hours of well-deserved sleep! I did and now have a question. At +6 Pudge tested at 161, about an hour later his Keto-Diastix for the first time showed no glucose in his fresh urine. I did the urine test within moments of obtaining the sample. My question: has anyone noticed that after a possible hypo - don't know if that was the case - Ketostix showed no glucose in urine? I know that It's possible, but has anyone noticed this with any consistency? I always leave soupy food overnight and there was still some left this morning.
Pudge is on a tid schedule. He has mostly been gliding in blues and greens but he's not by any means a controlled diabetic. So sorry, but I can't update his ss. Nor can I participate much because my 92 year old stepfather needs a lot of assistance and he lives in his own house located at some distance from mine. I might not be able to answer quickly, but would be very grateful for your input.
Best wishes,
Sophie
