Great news, Marlena! How wonderful to have a veterinary insulin other than Caninsulin! (Bearing in mind that UK vets have - by law - to prescribe a veterinary insulin first, and Caninsulin has been the only one available for a few years now...)
It's been licensed for use in Europe for quite a while, and I was totally mystified as to why no vets were prescribing it. I wonder if it's use now is in response to the Royal Veterinary College's feline insulin trial....?
We look forward to meeting the first UK Prozinc users!!!

PS. Some years ago I contacted the Prozinc people and asked if they had plans to get Prozinc into Europe, saying that it would be great because we really needed an insulin for cats other than Caninsulin here.... I got a short reply that said they had "no plans to get Prozinc into Europe"..... The sneaky devils! Or maybe they just reconsidered the possibility....
